Pneumatic Pressure Switch

V-Flow Solutions is able to offer a new range of pneumatic pressure switches.

The new switches offer a high-quality build and performance, with features such as being shock and vibration resistant to EN 61373 (Class B) and Corrosion resistant in accordance with salt mist test ISO 9227.

Below we detail the switch and its features and specifications.

Pneumatic Pressure Switch

The new pressure switch is designed specifically for withstanding shock and vibration in critical duties, usually found in the rail, commercial vehicle and industrial sectors.

The compact and lightweight electro-mechanical design delivers accurate, repeatable and reliable performance for multiple applications including compressors and braking systems in ambient working temperatures ranging from -40° to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F).

The robust and durable design of the pressure switch features a silicon rubber diaphragm suitable for neutral gases and liquid fluids. Working set-point pressures are selectable in four adjustable ranges from 0.2 – 2 Bar up to 1.6 – 16 Bar, with pre-set options also available.

The maximum allowable inlet pressure is 24 Bar.

The pressure switch has an IP65 environmental protection rating in accordance to EN 60529, including electrical connections, together with corrosion protection (salt spray) to ISO 9227, provides suitability for installation in exposed locations, whilst long-term reliability is further enhanced by UL & CSA approved triple layer gold plated microswitch contacts.

Shock and vibration tested in accordance to EN 61373 (Category 1 Class B).

Main features:
  • Switch developed in accordance with rail industry standards, including; Shock and vibration to EN 61373 (Class B).
  • Corrosion resistance, Salt Mist Test ISO 9227.
